A former chef turned circus artist, Chu’s work explores dark humor, absurdity, and social satire through clowning and object manipulation. His solo creations blend personal experience with sharp commentary, often using circus props to tell unconventional stories. In 2023, he received the Innovation & Experimentation Award at the Taipei Fringe Festival for the first part of his ongoing WTF Trilogy.
