Founded in 2015, Circus Gate hopes to lead the public through the gate to the dazzling world of circus and to experience the time when juggling was part of our life around 1970’s and 80’s in Taiwan. Through this gate, it also seeks to become a portal between Taiwan's contemporary circus and the world. 
It focuses on executing social participation through experimental work with circus elements. It also searches for the form of contemporary circus via the traces of Taiwan’s juggling development, the paths of international circus creation and so on. Besides using the way of creation, it hopes to embody the word “circus” not only with entertainment, but also with cultural and spiritual meaning that everyone knows through the way of cultural record, social care, profession cultivation, etc.
